St. George & Las Vegas

Flash back Friday (even though it is Sunday!) It was a year ago that we were in beautiful Maui! We loved every minute of it. Jeremy especially loved snorkeling and still wakes up some mornings and asks me, "Can we go snorkeling today!?" That place is just wonderful!

Well we weren't able to go back to Maui for our anniversary, (and we probably will not be able to go back for another 30 years!) but we were able to leave the cold and rainy Spring weather and head down to Southern Utah. We enjoyed the sun and loved just relaxing.

Before we headed down we stopped in Mapleton and said hi to Stacie and her cute kids while they were in town for a minute. It was sure great seeing them!
The first night we were in St. George we went to Tuacahn and saw Brian Regan. He was funny as usual and we had several laughs and enjoyed the beautiful
red rock scenery.
The temple is just so pretty at night!
We were able to do a session at the temple then we headed down to Las Vegas!
We were able to spend some time with Adam and Nichole and their kids. We got to their house and Rylee instantly had several games that she wanted us to play with her. We played a couple fun games then went out to lunch at a yummy buffet!
The Belagio Gardens
We saw these guys on the strip, I bet it sure gets hot in the Las Vegas sun with both of their costumes!
We then enjoyed the next couple of days back in St. George swimming in the pool and hiking around Snow Canyon.
Then we had to come home. We sure had a lot of fun and are already wishing we were back on vacation! On the drive home we saw a motor-home pulling this truck, with a boat in the bed!
Interesting.

Five Mile Pass

For our anniversary we decided to celebrate not just our year mark but also celebrated Jer being done with finals and the nice weather outside! We went jeeping with Aaron and Jenny out west. We had a good time climbing big hills and going over large bumpy rocks. There were a few times when I jumped out of the jeep and let Jeremy drive on his own, in fear that we were going to pull a Jack and Jill and "tumble down the hill."

This was the view I saw several times sitting in the passenger seat, looking straight up into the sky, kinda scary!

Aaron and Jenny were leading in their white jeep

This patch was extra rocky!

Good picture of Jer concentrating!

These were our options for getting back to the main road. All of them looked a bit interesting.

After we got done jeeping, we said goodbye to Aaron and Jenny and ran to the Home Depot and picked up a few mother's day gifts. Jer dropped me off at home and went to wash his car. He came home with a clean car and these cute flowers for me. We went out to dinner at Ruby River for some yummy food! It was a great day!

OnE yEaR!!!

One year!
Goodness gracious great balls of fire, it has flown by!
Our wedding day was just terrific.
It was so fun seeing all of our family and friends
that day who came to show their love and support for us.
This year has been just wonderful, and I can't wait for an eternity more!
Here are just a few of my favorite pictures from our fantastic day!
Funny story about this picture. This is the last picture of the night that our photographer snapped. It is the classic catching of the garter picture. Only thing . . . . . we have no idea who this guy is. . . . so if he looks familiar to anyone, let us know so we can have a name to a face!

So since we have hit the year mark, are we not considered a "newlywed" couple anymore?!
