Brett and Wendy (Jeremy's sister) got a wonderful Christmas present! Noelle (Ellie) was born on December 22nd. We were able to go and visit them in the hospital. What a sweet thing!

We were able to spend a few days down in Mapleton over Christmas, and this is the only picture I took!

Before Christmas we met the Greer family down at Temple Square and ate at the Lion House and walked around to see the lights!
We had somewhat of an exciting week leading up to New Years.
(Although this kind of exciting is the type that I wouldn't mind never having to do again!)
The Tuesday after Christmas dad was pushing snow on his 4 wheeler in front of the house. One minute he was on his 4 wheeler and the next he wasn't and was face down on the road. No one saw the accident but luckily people found him seconds after it happened. He took a ride in the ambulance and after a few hours and two CT scans later, the dr.'s decided they needed to go in and do emergency surgery to drain the blood that was collecting in his brain, as his condition was getting bad . . very fast! The surgery went well and they were able to repair the skull fractures and put in a drain tube for the blood. He was in the ICU for the next several days then spent a few days in a "regular" hospital room (which happened to be the smallest hospital room known to man!) He is home now and recovering (which means he is back going to work and doing his church callings!) The nurses all said, "now that is why you wear a helmet when you are riding 4 wheelers." So I guess even if you are pushing snow going 2 miles an hour you should just play it safe and wear a helmet! I think we could find a nice pink one for him!

Those few days we surely felt the power of prayer and were grateful for everyone who thought of him! We love our dad/grandpa and glad that he is home safe and back to "normal!"
