October Happenings

General Conference weekend I wanted to do some Halloween crafts.  I found these ideas online so I did a couple while watching conference (wasn't conference just great?!).

This wreath included a lot of candy corns and hot glue!  I think it turned out really cute!  Thanks goes out to Jeremy for eating all of the candy corns that were broken and ones I couldn't use!

The other project I worked on were these cute mason jar lanterns.  I mod podged (yes, I believe that is a real word) mason jars with colored tissue paper, then put little faces on them.  A little ribbon on top and a flicker candle in the bottom and tada . . .  These pictures do not do them justice they are much cuter in person! 

We also bottled spicy vegetables.  We haven't tried them  yet because they are suppose to sit for a while but they sure look pretty and good! 

Minus the snow . . .  October has been a great month so far!
