A few things!

Nothing too exciting for us has been happening lately. Jer started back to school full time, and I continue to work (nothing really ever changes for me!). Hopefully this school year won't be too terrible for him (I mean working on your Masters of Engineering and writing a thesis can't be too terrible . . . right?! . . . gosh . . poor guy!) On a brighter note, we have been growing some things on our balcony this year. We did tomatoes again and jalapeno's. Everything turned out good especially since we are trying to grow things on our north facing balcony!
I went on a quick Friday day trip to Logan. Shanell and I went to the beauty college where we got pedicures and some sort of deep conditioning scalp treatment on our hair it was a lot of fun!
We stopped by to say hi to Liz and meet her new little guy Miles! He is just so cute and it was fun seeing Liz and her other kids that just keep growing and growing!
We also stopped by and said a quick hello to JaNell and visited with her while she was doing her good wifely duty and making bread! That next week she had a cute little baby girl!
It was sure fun to hang out in Logan, I need to do those Friday trips more often!
One night we went up the canyon and made a yummy dutch oven honey mustard chicken dinner with corn on the cob. Brian and Mandy came and met us. We had a great time eating and talking and roasting some pretty awesome smores!
Labor Day we went with my family to the Kennecott Cooper Mine. It was fun to see all the big trucks hauling and dumping their loads. It was kinda cold and windy up there so Jer gave Micah his jacket to wear. I love this picture of him looking through the binoculars trying to get a closer look at everything going on!
Pretty big tire . . .
The whole gang!
