PCC

Tuesday we drove up to Laie to spend the afternoon at the Polynesian Cultural Center.  The drive to get there through the mountains was pretty and green.  It had just rained and there were tons of waterfalls.

We stopped at a couple beaches on the way up and enjoyed the scenery!

We went to the temple before we headed to the PCC it was fun to walk around and see the temple (after we got there we wished we would have planned better to be able to do a session!)

This is Jeremy's dream mission: To be called to Hawaii to mow the lawn for the temple grounds!  I would gladly go along with him!  

We made it to the PCC and enjoyed learning about all the islands.  It was a fun and entertaining day (oh, and expensive!)

He climbed up that tree so quick!

After our Luau dinner we went on a little bus tour which they advertised we would be "driving through the town of Laie, seeing BYU Hawaii and the LDS Temple".  We drove through the town while getting to BYU Hawaii and drove right by the campus and ended up at the temple.  Once we pulled up they told us they would like everyone to get off the buses and go inside the visitors center to watch a 5 minute video about the early town of Laie.  It was funny, but we are glad we went.  The temple was beautiful at night and we got to meet Mark Eubank who is serving a mission there now!  (lucky!) 

After the "tour" we headed back to watch the show they put on.

It was a great day!
